About Me…

Christy Minihan is a self-made entrepreneur from North Texas who has been a part of the creative arts retail industry for over 20 years. Her talents began at home working for her embroidery business, A Thread Above, she shared with her mother, Anita. Christy decided she wanted to challenge herself with a new medium and decided to take up pottery. After some time working at a custom pottery studio, Christy decided to bring her work home and run her own business, From Clay to Z. This went on for almost 11 years when Christy then decided to broaden her creative horizon and start selling all types of custom art on Facebook.
